Creamy Butternut Squash With Cinnamon Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
My toddler and I loved this, but my husband wasn't impressed. Great flavors but in the end, too much soup for just me to finish!

This was good....but after the work I can't say it was better than any other turkey we've made.

Pear and Prosciutto Pizza

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
This pizza is soooo good! When first reading the ingredients, I didn't see how Swiss would be the right cheese for this pizza....but it was perfect. Making it again tonight!

Slow Cooker Tomato Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
I did not slow cook this for 10-15 hours as directed b/c I didn't have the time so I only did 4 hours on high. The flavors were great! It did end up condensing dramatically since I cooked it on high so maybe that is to blame, but it was super spicy! And, I only used 2/3s of the recommended cayanne per other's notes that this is way too spicy.

Apple Pike

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
I gave this 4 stars not because it's amazing but because it's pretty darn good for only having 4 ingredients! How simple! I made it with my toddler in about 5 minutes. I too had to cook it more like 35 minutes and after reading the other posts I decided to sprinkle some cinnamon on top when it was halfway cooked. Comes out with a nice bread pudding-like consistency. I put a small dab of butter on top as soon as it came out of the oven and it melted all over the top. Will definitely make again to use up excess apples.
