I was so excited to try this recipe because I love rotisserie chicken. People comment that this is better than store bought however, this was not the case for me. I didn't cook the chicken as long as recommended because it met the internal temp. requirements after almost 3 hours and I didn't want it to dry out. The outside of the chicken wasn't that deep, dark color you see from a store/restaurant bought rostisserie chicken and if I didn't have a thermometer, I would have guessed the chicken was not done based on the appearance of the outside. Although the seasonings were good, they didn't seep into the meat and only flavored the outter parts of the chicken. I'm glad I tried this recipe and was able to use the chicken in other recipes, it just didn't meet my expectations for a rotisserie chicken.
