Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2011
8/11 korri's house: fabulous. i followed exactly except i used only 3/4 cup of oil which made it plenty moist. i also don't have a bundt pan and used a tube pan with no problems. dusted with powdered sugar. used mini chips (good). served with cool whip and fresh berries. everyone loved it. 8/2014 made for korri again. great, really moist, with berries and reddi whip.

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2011
5* very good. i doubled the sauce, except for the pepper and I didn't have fresh parsley so i used 3 tblsp. dried parsley. Also, i didn't have linguini and used angel hair and it was perfect, i think linguini would have been too big for this sauce.

Fancy Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2011
3/11 very good. i used half cup s.c and 4 oz of c.c. and mixed in 1 cup cheddar. spray the dish and bake 45o to get crusty top. we all liked it but allison, but she doesn't like mash. pot anyway. next time maybe use less s.c. and more c.c. and cheddar. 9/13 4 russets, 4 oz cream cheese, 1/4 container sour cream and mex cheese blend mixed in. s&p awesome!!! good for 4. can leave in oven a long time in round casserole dish, creamy inside.

Chicken, Rice and Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2011
3/11..big red pot, melt butter, saute celery, carrots, frozen onions, garlic, and mushrooms(very tasty in this soup) until cooked. i added 2 cooked leftover grilled chicken breasts and then 8 cups of water with 8 boulions in it. also added one can of condensed cream of chicken soup to give it a creamier consistancy. i made BROWN (VG) rice in a separate pot (1 cup of rice) and when it was done i added it in. made homemade croutons and it was great! make this next time company comes. a little salty though so maybe buy low sodium broth.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
2/11 i used 3 frozen and followed the reviewer who said slow cook on high 4 hours in chicken broth, drain, shred and add ing. and low for 2 hours. since i used only 3 breasts, i halved the ing. and it was not enough. VEry tasty though. make again except use all the sauce. i used chibatta rolls and it was too doughy. try other ones next time. 1/2014: used 4 breasts, defrosted first, followed recipe exactly and way too much sauce. high for 3 hours, shred and then back in for 1 hr on low. very good, make again.
