Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2012
halved everything and put in an 8x8 dish. a little watery so use less water next time. 10/13: full recipe, used a variety of apples, very good. i used half the water in the recipe and it was still watery. some users suggesting mixing the white sugar mixture in with the apples instead of sprinkling on top, next time try that and use only 1/8th a cup of water.

Black Bean and Salsa Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2012
2/12: yum. i only had 1 can of beans so i halved the recipe. i used chicken broth not veg. but first i cut up a slice of bacon and sauteed it in the pot (no oil needed) when cooked add onion and saute, when cooked add garlic. then add the beans, broth, salsa, cumin and a little lime juice. i pureed the whole thing. some reviews say to leave some beans out before using the emersion blender.

Blue Cheese Burgers

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2012
2/12. they really shrink so make 3 out of 1 lb not 4. i did not have chives but put minced onion in larry's. put gorgonzola on top. maybe it will be different with blue cheese? maybe better? memorial day 2103 panov & enquists followed exactly but 1/3 of all with the exception of the blue cheese, i used about 3 oz crumbled. they were great! also instead of 1 lb of beef i used 1/2 pork and 1/2 beef combo pack.
