Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

5/14: very good and tender. i marinate the chicken cubes overnight, skewered before guests came with red, green peppers and red onion and little tomato. very good,make again!

Beef or Chicken Marinade

5/14: marinated london broil overnight and then stir fryed it. it was tasty. i also added some shop rite general chows sauce so that helped too. good with crunchies, snow peas and brocollit

Barbie's Tuna Salad

5/14: i doubled the recipe, but didn't really follow too closely. i used 6 tblsp of mayo which was perfect, some cut up celery, good, hot dog relish didn't have hamburger and it was ok. not as much as they said though, i chickened out on the curry, maybe next time add it. i did add the cheese though, that was good.'

Pepperoni Bread

4/14 used rockland bakery pizza dough, excellent. halved it. put egg on top also and kosher salt and it. seasoning. everyone liked it. but it did open at the seam. i didn't roll it i just folded over, next time roll it.

Mom's Fabulous Chicken Pot Pie with Biscuit Crust

1/14 i had alot of leftover chicken and turkey so i only used half the gravy this recipe made. i also used a bag of frozen mixed vegies. I baked the biscuits for about 8 min until the bottoms were firm then put them on top of the casserole and let them cook the rest of the way. it was pretty good, a good way to use up the extra meat.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

1/2014. very good but i like kievs better. i made it, browned it in the skillet, and then froze it. defrosted and then baked it covered in foil. the sauce is very good. i doubled it except the butter. dad really liked the sauce.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

1/14: used 1/2 cup br. sugar in place of 1/2 cup sugar. i put a few nuts on top but i should have put alot throughout..it was ok but i dont really like pumpkin bread. ally liked it though. also i halfed the recipe to make i lg loaf.

Chicago Dip

12/13: i followed the advice of reviewer number 2, add 8 oz cream cheese and half a cup of sour cream and half a cup of mayo. i didn't have seasoned salt or veg soup mix but i did have some leftover veg. dip so that is what i used for the half cup sour cream. also added can of water chestnuts. good with whole grain tortilla chips.

Frank's® Red Hot® Buffalo Chicken Dip

12/13: did not add the extra blue cheese and it was still very good. Sean and Matthew loved it, great with celery stix and grain type tortilla chips (must be firm otherwise they break). Also, i did n't use canned ckn, sauteed up a chicken breast and cubed it small. next time could use a little more chicken. although matthew said there was enough chicken it just sunk to the bottom. heat in oven and then transfer to tiny chocolate crock pot to stay warm.

Real Italian Calzones

11/13 one dough from shop rite is good for 3 calzones for 3 people. i used no cheddar cheese, i followed a reviewer and used about 1 cup of ricotta, an egg some shredded mozz cheese, some parm cheese, s&p and parsley. dip in heated tom. sauce. spray with canola spray pan and calzone. 6/14: made 3 really big ones, i think i can do 4 smaller next time. also, don't add a whole egg, only half and then use the other half to brush on top. otherwise great wtih pepperoni.

labor day talia 2013 very good, i used apples not pears, cranberries not avocado and goat not blue. nuts were good but didn't cook well. try a diff. method next time. dressing good. bag and a half of trader joes lettuce.
