Fall and Farmer's markets

Yes, I ment to say markets. I visit a number of them in my area which is the Mid-Hudson River area of New York. More explicitely-Kingston. I find it quite interesting to see all the booths full of fresh vegetables and fruits. This weekend I was rather
sad to see the sign " last of the peaches". I so love peaches. Yes, I bought some. I even ate one as I sat and watched all the people milling around. We also have a wonderful bread bakery-Bread Alone-that has wonderful breads. I am in the process of trying
every kind.
I want to thank "Rosepuddn" for her blog entry about farmers market in Tulsa, OK. She gave me a good idea for a soup (Butternut Squash Soup-AR) that I am going to fix next Sunday and serve it at the coffee hour after church. Thanks for the idea.
