Simple Scones

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
I LOVE making these scones! They are so light and just a hint of sweetness! Cutting in the butter is a pain, I grant you, but worth it. I sprinkle with cinnamon sugar most of the time before baking. Sometimes I'll stir in chocolate chips or butterscotch chips for a sweet dessert treat. Always a winner and they looks so pretty!

Slow Cooker Beef Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
This has to be my favorite crock pot recipe ever. Just pour everything in, cook on low all day, give it a little stir, and serve with corn muffins. It's very thick and filling and lasts us all week. It's a great way to get a husband to eat vegetable (they're surrounding the meat so he has to eat them to get to the meat!) :-)

Swiss Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
I make this at least once a month. It's so easy, quick , and very filling. I use chicken tenderloins, 98% fat free cream of chicken soup, and StoveTop Chicken Stuffing. I make the stuffing ahead of time, put it on top, bake 30 minutes covered, 20 minutes uncovered. Always comes out moist and very yummy! :-)

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
These were SOOOO rich and good. Very simple to make. I do recommend chilling the cookie mixture for a little while before dipping. And my advise on dipping: Just put down a lot of newspaper on your counter, use a toothpick in the center of each ball, dip, swirl, and use a spoon so cover any missed spots. Just set them down and they'll dry just fine. Mmmmm.. Oreos and cream cheese...what more could you want?

Master Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
I could not believe how wonderful this dough turned out. My husband's family has made pizza every Saturday night for decades. It usually takes between 2-2 1/2 hrs to complete a pizza. It's always delicious, but sometimes you need pizza faster! So I threw my hand in with this dough and it was so yummy. Crunch on the outside, soft in the middle. Make my own pizza sauce, put some garlic salt and parmesan cheese around the crust and VOILA! Very good! Will use often.

Ham 'N' Cheese Stromboli

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2009
Easy and very tasty. I had some trouble rolling out the refridgerated dough, but once shaped, I brushed a little melted butter and garlic powder on the inner surface of the dough, then added the ham and cheeses. Next time I'll use pepperoni, my husband's favorite! VERY simple and good.
