Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2009
These are fantastic. Followed the recipe exactly as written and the cookies literally melt in your mouth. They stay soft (how I like them) even without being stored in a sealed container. I've taken these to many occaisions and I am always asked for the receipe.

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2009
Fantastic recipe, very moist and full of flavor. As others did I substituted 1C of oil for unsweetened applesauce and reduced the sugar as well, but otherwise followed the recipe as written. Next time I may add some additional spices. The cake got rave reviews from all of my guests, thank you for a great recipe.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

This is delicious and very filling. I followed the recipe to the letter and it turned out wonderfully. Served it with homemade corn bread and it was a real hit.

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
Great, great recipe. I follwed the directions exactly as written with the exception of fresh mushrooms for canned and baking the crust to "firm" it up. Adding crumbled bacon or diced ham would make this even better I think. This is a relatively inexpensive meal to make and will be a staple in my recipe box from now on. Thank you!!!

Meatloaf Supreme

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
The seasoning measurements for this recipe are clearly wrong and even if they were I think this would STILL bad. I asked my g/f to search for a meatloaf recipe and this is the one she came across, unfortunate that she didn't read the reviews. I kept asking her if she was sure the seasoning wasn't listed in teaspoons and she said "no." Against my better judgement I followed what she wrote down. What came out of the oven wasn't even edible.

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
Made as is I think this is a 4 star recipe, with a few enhancements it's definitely a 5. I've made this a few times now and the first time I followed the directions as is. The meal was very good, but it seemed a bit bland to me so I read some other reviews and added some Old Bay Seasoning, diced tomatoes, and doubled the garlic (I love the stuff). Contrary to other reviews I don't think a cup of butter is too much. To top it off I liberally sprinkled Panko bread crumbs and Parmesan cheeze on top. Served over linguini with a side of Italian bread and Caesar salad it was delicious.
