Southwestern Chicken and White Bean Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
You can't go wrong with this. It's just spicy enough but not too spicy. The white beans add an extra dimension. This is a GREAT alternative to regular chili.

JIF® Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
This is by FAR the best peanut butter cookie recipe I have ever used. It is now my ONLY pb cookie recipe. Just make sure you've got a lot of peanut butter. YUM!

Peach Frozen Yogurt

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
I made the recipe as is (it *might* be argued that I used and additional 1/4 cup of peaches, after all it IS peach frozen yogurt! ^_^). Mine didn't turn out creamy at all. :( It is exactly what you'd get if you put a yoplait in the freezer. I was really expecting a creamier result. HOWEVER, this is FAR better than buying yogurt from the store. I'd make this again, even with my "less than 'creamy'" result than buy peach yogurt from the store. Also, I think maybe the initial freezing time might be a bit too high. Mine was too frozen for cutting. This might have been my problem. I'd check it often and next time I will make sure to cut it up and mix it sooner.

Chocolate Earl Grey Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
I made these to fill a super chocolate + earl grey tea craving I'd been having. There's a coffee shop where I used to live that made a blended drink incorporating these two things, & then my friend from the UK sent me Belgian dark chocolate with earl grey in it. It was lovely. But I needed some more. These cookies certainly filled my craving. The tea was noticeable and enjoyable. The texture of the cookie is pleasant - nice and soft. I agree with another reviewer that the cookie is brownie like. I shared these with my husbands' fellow graduate students and even the picky ones liked them. I will make again, but I will use more tea and super dark chocolate (just my preference - these were excellent as is).

Jiffy Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
Absolutey perfect for those times when you've just gotta have a cinnamon roll. These are great when you don't want to bother with yeast and don't have time to let things rise. They do have a sort of biscuit taste but if you garnish it right that flavor goes away. :) These do get hard after a few hours, so make sure you eat them up while they're fresh!

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
Tasty. Husband didn't like them so much but he's not a fan of sweet potatoes. I loved them. I used black beans because I didn't have kidney beans. They are addicting. Though people not used to vegetarian dishes may find the texture a little weird. Next time I'll add some curry powder next time and some red pepper powder for a different kind of spice.
