Avocado Quinoa Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
This was excellent, the whole family enjoyed it. I added black beans to give it more protein because I served it for dinner. I would give it 5 stars but it seemed like it needed a little something else in terms of spices. I will definitely make again and experiment with some herbs or spices. Thank you, I love Quinoa recipes!

Chocolate Fudge Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2010
These were okay. I agree with other reviewers to reduce the oil to 1/3 cup and increase cooking time. For a "cake cookie" their fine but like someone else said, they don't beat a homemade cookie recipe.

Whole Grain Healthy Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
This was awesome! Added the teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, used the whole egg, reduced the flour to 3/4 and added 1 cup of oats. Threw in a handful of choc chips and pecans. May put in applesauce instead of sourcream next time to reduce the fat. Also added 2 scoops of Greens & Whey protein.

Shrimp and Dill Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
I made this for a party and they were gone within minutes. Next time I'll make a double batch and add more hot sauce. I used the can shrimp versus the fresh and it was good! I will definitely make it again!

The Best Vegetarian Chili in the World

Whole family loved it, enough for leftovers. Made with less Jalapeno's but spicy enough for our family. Hopefully will freeze well. Will update. Froze great, nothing was mushy - have made again!

Blueberry Flax Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
This was awesome! Didn't change a thing. My son and I recently were diagnosed with hypoglycemia and a gluten intolerance and this is a delicious and healthy breakfast! I make 2 batches and freeze a batch for the kids for the next week. It's so sweet with the blueberries you don't need any syrup!

Whole family liked, took other reviewers suggestion and drained the eggplant first. Put over angel hair pasta in the baking dish with fresh tomatoes and spinach. Excellent.

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
Next time need to brown the chicken and make sure I put the rub on it. I think that would have made the difference, even though other reviewers said they liked it without. Added red potatoes and broccoli and the broth gave it a nice flavor.

Grandma's Peach French Toast

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
I was so excited to make this recipe - it sounded so delicious! But....even though I followed the directions and took others advice by using 6 eggs and 1 1/2 cups of milk, the middle was very soggy and the top was dry. I was very disappointed. :(

Garden Veggie Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2012
Family rated from a 3.5 to a millimeter below a 5. Needed more cheese, too much cheese, not spicy enough... next time I'll have some grated cheese on the side and maybe add an additional vegetable like peppers, which might give it the extra zest it needed. Definitely needed black pepper.
