About this Cook
I'm a new wife and new cook! I just started working a full-time job so quick, easy, and tasty meals are important to learn for me.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are the things that my husband tells me he loves; Sausage Manicotti, Adobo seasoned chicken, pizza. I also LOVE baking and trying out new dessert recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas time is always my favorite cooking time because of the cookies! My family would all come together, each house bringing their own special batch of cookie, and everyone would exchange and go home with a medley of cookies on their platters.
My cooking triumphs
There have not been many, but I tried sausage manicotti on my husband one night and he told me that it was one of the best things I had made for him yet!
My cooking tragedies
My very first meal I attempted my mother in-law's famous chicken enchiladas (completely unaware of the high level of difficulty). The kitchen exploded. Well, not literally, but you wouldn't have known the dofference by peeking your head in there. Plus I burned the sauce and had to make a second batch, used too much cheese and the end result came out as what my husband dubbed "cheesy spicy mush." I wouldn't even say it had any spice to it. It was just mush.

Manicotti Italian Casserole
Pretty good. I made this one night when I did not have a lot of time. It is super easy and pleased my husband's taste. I personally think it could of used some more interest in the flavor dept, but then again it was a pretty basic recipe! I'll definitely make it again though - good recipe!

Clone of a Cinnabon
I reduced this recipe like crazy but it was still so wonderful. The cream cheese icing could stand to be a tad sweeter, but that might just be my personal preference.

Classic Waffles
Delicious! I added a bit more sugar, a splash more of vanilla (my husband likes sweet waffles), and a few shakes of cinnamon. Turned out tasting SO yummy.
