Whipped Cream Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2011
Made it with the suggestions from the review double the recipe and add 1/4 cup unwhpped whipping cream and some raisin. Pair it with Yogurt Devonshire Cream (1 cup whipping cream + 1 tbsp sugar + 100g flavoured yogurt - whip them all together) Very delicious! The biscuit is really light and airy and no need for shortening or butter real nice!

Microwave Lemon Curd

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2010
The result from this recipe is really nice. Thanks for providing a good lemon curd recipe that doesn't require extra egg yolks. Need those yolks for my cookies. It's the whites that I have spare. I was too lazy to wait by the microwave....instead I cooked it over the stove on very very low heat. No double boiler setup either. The result was still pretty good slight oil build up at the end. I used it to stuff my cupcakes. Next time I'll be using it for my lemon danish and probably add the butter after removing it from heat.

Oyako Donburi

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2010
Tried it yesterday and it was a real hit! The kids loved it and so did everyone else. Only change....because the soy sauce I had on hand was saltier than most I only used 2 tbsp and substituted the other 2 tbsp with bonito soup base. I was amazed how fast it was to make it. Would definitely make again and again.

The Best Thai Coconut Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2010
This was truely awesome. The entire family loved it. Next time I would try with some squid or calamari added to give it more content.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2010
There was a bit too much tomato sauce taste to the dish....however, the kids loved it even asked to have 2nd & 3rd servings as well as lunch next day....personally I would boil the tomato and tomato sauce separately first to get rid of some of the sourness before adding it to the dish.

Amazingly Good Eggnog

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2009
My family had been avoiding eggnog for quite a while but this one changed their mind. Really nice...only change was used whole egg instead of just the yolks and halved the cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
