I've never moved more than two miles in my life. My husband and I built our house, by ourselves, using a book called " How To Build Your Own House" on land from my Grandpa's farm. My children (2 sons and a dsughter) are all grown and gone. Have 2 grandchildren, a boy and a girl who are also all grown up. Desserts, pies and homemade soups. My children, and now my grandson always helped make the fresh cranberry/orange relish using the old fashioned hand-cranked meat grinder. I make really good pies and homemade soups. My first time making biscuits, I put the ingredients all in at once and wound up with a gooey unusable mess. I threw it all out!
