KOOL-AID PIE

My aunt makes this recipe. She has always made kid friendly treats and I enjoy this one myself. I like orange for it tastes like an orange cream pop especially in graham crust. Also the lime is good.

Jen's Deer Tenderloin

I used seasoned tomatoes on this a different time and it still turned out great:) You can change up the veggies to your preference. Tenderloin is just a good healthy meat any way it's prepared.

Potato and Onion Soup

This soup was awesome...like someone else mentioned I'm not sure what happened to others who attempted this one but it was great for me..I left out the leeks because I didn't have any and threw in a chunk of smoked sausage...I definitely didn't make enough myself, my husband and my 2 yr old devoured all of this.:) Thanks for the recipe! (Potato Soup is one of my favorite soups)

I made this using coffee instead of water and it was awesome. I have made it a few times and every time I make it, I try to let folks try it if there's any left. Have had only great compliments about it.

Southwestern Black Bean Stew

Wow! This was great! I used a can of tomato soup and a can of italian seasoned tomato (drained) in place of the tomato paste and water. Added a couple of dashes of chili powder. It was great. I also tried this with shredded chicken and a can of green enchilada sauce where I normally used the tomato soup. We added our sour cream afterwards. This was great poured over crumbled up cheesy cornbread. Might I add we ate it about 6 or ate times in just a few weeks.

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

This is awesome. I couldn't wait to make icing for it and ate more than a sample out of the cake. This one will be mine. The only things I did different was added some orange juice (a couple oz) to my leftover pineapples to make 8 oz. Used 13 x 9 pan which required less cooking time. about 35 to 45 minutes. used up some small boxes of raisins probably not totaling 1 cup but close and I didn't have walnuts so I used pecans - only a handful (I have small hands). It was great. This will be the carrot cake recipe that I keep. For people who don't like coconut you can't even tell it's there it is such a great blend..yummmmmy..

Old Fashioned Cream Pie

I made my own graham cracker crust and added some vanilla. This was awesome. Like a custard. It had a hard time getting done in the center. Could have made 2 thinner pies. I let it cool then placed it in the refrig. and it firmed up enough. It was awesome with the graham cracker crust.

Slow Cooker Enchiladas

I adjusted by cooking with the taco seasoning as directed on pack, had 1/2 can left over cream of mushroom soup instead of the full can, used half salsa and 1/2 pico de gallo (which has jalepenos)used about 3 cups of cheese (1/2 mexican blend 1/2 Quesadilla)with this I figured the amount of beef and cheese mixture by placing the amount I would want on a nacho on each piece of tortilla. I kinda of took the spoon across to blend it together. I also cooked this in the oven on 350 for 40min. in a 13x9 casserole dish. My husband took it to work (minus my test dish)and the guys offered to pay for me to make it again:) I would say this was an awesome easy dish.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

This was an easy awesome. Not alot of ingredients. Mine worked fine with an 8oz tub of cool whip. I also used a 2qt. casserole dish lined with oreo's and sprinkled those on the top as well. Excellent!!!
