Wonderful Short Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2013
This recipe is awesome. I will definitely make this again. I read a lot of the reviews and did change it up some. I seasoned the meat with salt, pepper and Mrs. Dash and seared the meat in olive oil. I took the meat out and added onions and cooked until softened then I added fresh garlic and cooked for a minute or two. Then I added about a half cup of beef broth and deglazed the pan. Then I added the sauce, sugar and spices and let cook for about 5 minutes. I then added the meat to a baking dish then covered it with the sauce and baked on 325 for 2 hours. The meat was so tender and the sauce was amazing. I served with garlic mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli and garlic cheddar biscuits. This was an awesome meal. Thanks for the recipe.

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2012
This tuna casserole was awesome. We did not change a thing. My husband even liked it and he doesn't really care for tuna casserole. My 10 year old step-daughter made this. This was her first cooking lesson and she was so happy that this turned out very good. Thanks for the recipe. It is a keeper.

This was an excellent recipe. It tasted just as good as the coffee shops. I used splenda in this instead of regular sugar. This will be my favorite summer recipe. I will be making this a lot.

Slow Cooker Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2011
I made this corn chowder today for supper. It is excellent. This is my third time making this recipe. The first two times I made it I used ham in it but today I decided to put shredded rotisserie chicken in it. I also used some of the other reviewers suggestions such as addding carrot and using 1 can of cream style corn in it. I also used chicken broth instead of water and bouillion. I also added some spices to it. I added marjoram, sage, basil and oregano and I made a slurry with two tablespoons of cornstarch with a little bit of water and added that in with the milk. It turned out awesome. It was was very creamy and a little thick the perfect consistency. Thanks for a great recipe.

These were good. I used whole eggs instead of just egg whites and followed the rest of the recipe as written. These were good but next time I think I will add some spices to give it more flavor.

Candied Kielbasa

Reviewed: May 21, 2010
I have made this recipe a lot of times but I just use the brown sugar and ketchup. Next time I will try adding horseradish to it. This is one of my daughters favorite recipes. She loves to have macaroni and cheese with this. I also boil the kielbasa first before I put it in the crockpot that will cut down on the grease.

Swanson® Sensational Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
I made this soup for lunch today. I only had 1 can of chicken broth so I added 4 cups of water to 4 teaspoons of boullion. I added garlic to this and garlic pepper, mrs. dash, red pepper flakes and a little bit of seasoned salt. This soup was excellent. I served it with a salad and cheese and spinach muffins. It was an excellent meal.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
This is an awesome recipe. This is my first time trying quinoa. I doubled the cayenne pepper and cumin. I used chicken broth because it is what I had on hand and I only used 1 can of black beans. I served this with chicken and it went very well together, even my very picky daughter liked this. This a keeper. I will be making this over and over again. Thank you for a great recipe.
