California Grilled Veggie Sandwich

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2012
This was excellent. I followed the ingredient list exactly. The only change was I cooked on the stove and then broiled. The veggie combination alone is delicious, but the sauce gives it an unforgettable zing!

Made it for a potluck. It came out great. I did omit the celery though.

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
Delicious! I followed the recipe as much as my pantry would allow...used two hot links and three sweet as other reviewers have suggested. Didn't have fresh tomatoes so used diced canned. Don't care for tortellini so left it out. Added frozen spinach and carrots (since they were frozen, omitted the water). Delicious!!! This one is definitely a keeper!

Apple Crisp II

I make these all the time. I do cut back on the white sugar and use cherries instead of apples. Great recipe!

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2011
I have been making this for about two years now and finally decided to review! Simply put, this is delicious. Nowadays if someone is cooking salmon, I whip up the marinade and use it as dipping sauce...although my favorite version is just as the recipe calls for.

Cucumber Sandwich

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2011
I wasn't to sure about this sandwich. The ingredient list seemed to leave much to be desired. But since I've been trying to eat healthier I decided to give it a try. The Verdict=DELICIOUS. Very refreshing even during the winter months and healthy. Followed the recipe as is...but used some of my local markets guacamole instead of avocado. Definitely a staple!

This came out great. It was like an upscale "Hamburger Helper" with better/fresher ingredients. Definitely a staple in my kitchen!

Chicken Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
Made just as. While cooking, everything looked and tasted great. However, when it came time to eat, it reminded me of "mush" and I just didn't like the way it tasted. Maybe it was something I did, but I will try it again!

Very good. I did add a little extra butter in order to get the extra "homemade" taste.

Pastry for Double Pie-Crust

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
My first pie crust from scratch! It was delicious and everyone loved it. I used it for a "sweet pie" so I added about a tablespoon of sugar to the mixture.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2012
Omitted the pecans, but included the rest of the ingredients. Seasoned the pork chops with season salt, black pepper, garlic and a little smoked chipotle powder. I threw everything in a casserole dish and cooked it for 45 minutes. The pork chops were so tender and juicy. Simply Delicious!

BBQ Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2012
Delicious and quick! Followed recipe, but used a store bought pizza blend (mozzarella, asiago, Parmesan, and smoked provolone) for the cheese. Also followed other reviewers suggestion of baking the chicken to keep the juiciness and it worked!
