Herb-Glazed Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
I just started taking over Thanksgiving dinners for the last few yrs.- & since then have tried a different recipe every year, looking for that special one to make mine. I'm certain I found it this yr., especially after hearing my son say "Mom, this is the one!" AND there were absolutely no left overs! It was the most delicious turkey I had ever tasted- juicy inside, light & mildly crispy outside! Even my Mom said it was the best! The only thing I added was a stick of sweet butter, rubbed under the skin- that's it. After all my research on cooking turkeys, I kept on reading that placing butter under the skin would assist in creating a juicy bird. Well it definitely did and this is definitely a keeper!!

Vegetarian Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
My new husband is vegetarian, so in trying to "get with plan!", I discovered this recipe; it was soooooo delicious! I live in a small town & was unable to find the pepper/onion stir fry, but I found a veggie stir fry- similar to it and just removed the broccoli! He loved it and I loved it! I've already shared it with my VERY meat lover family & they are looking forward to making it :)

Creamy Chicken Spread

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2010
Since every review kept on saying it needed more chicken- well I added tons more: 3- 12.5oz cans of chicken chunks 2 cups of celery 1 cup of onion (I luv onions but my friends & family don't!) These changes made it awesome! Very, very creamy and tasty!! I used it as a spread for canape type sandwiches and everyone loved it!

Absolutely the Best Nacho Dip Ever

Reviewed: May 17, 2010
Everyone loved this! Personally, I prefer everything really, finely diced- so individual flavors aren't too overwhelming. Make the shredded cheese the last layer, cover w/plastic & refrigerate for about 1-2 hrs. Excellent even two days later!

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2009
Very yummy! After reading the reviews, I did add more cinnamon (1 tsp more) and used regular "Frontier" whole wheat bread. Tried it out 'cause my son will be visiting next week- it's a keeper!! BTW- this receipe covered 7 slices exactly- and that was to the last drop! So if you need more, plan on making another batch :)
