this is the biscuit recipe I've been searching for! These turn out so big and fluffy, and so moist, not like the hockey pucks I usually make! It's important to use all the milk the recipe calls for, the batter will be very wet, but if you turn it out onto a floured surface and knead, it makes perfect biscuits. The milk makes them so moist inside! I also baked them side to side in a 13 by 9 inch cake pan instead of a cookie sheet, because that's what my dear old aunt used to do, and she was a great old country cook. This makes you have to increase the baking time by about 5 minutes, but they turned out perfect!
