Grilled Zucchini and Squash

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2013
this recipe was very good, I'm going to make it again tonight to go with some T-bone steaks on the grill. Even my husband liked them, and he's a very picky eater!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2010
I am so surprised at the rave reviews this cookie got. I made it exactly how the recipe stated, and although the dough was easy to work with, they spread so much that I ended up throwing half of them out. I was making these as gifts and I was so ashamed of these cookie blobs. They tasted good, but if you want a cookie that holds it's shape look elsewhere. I have never been so disappointed in a cookie in all my life. My husband who's never tasted a sugar cookie tried one and now he doesn't like them and probably won't try another kind. I just wanted to cry. what a waste of ingredients.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
this is the biscuit recipe I've been searching for! These turn out so big and fluffy, and so moist, not like the hockey pucks I usually make! It's important to use all the milk the recipe calls for, the batter will be very wet, but if you turn it out onto a floured surface and knead, it makes perfect biscuits. The milk makes them so moist inside! I also baked them side to side in a 13 by 9 inch cake pan instead of a cookie sheet, because that's what my dear old aunt used to do, and she was a great old country cook. This makes you have to increase the baking time by about 5 minutes, but they turned out perfect!
