I am a guy who LOVES to cook! If my situation growing up had been different, I probably would have gone to culinary school, but I still have learned from many highly skilled cooks. My main culinary influences were my father and mother. Both loved to cook (and eat). They taught me volumes on home cooking. My father (Red Edie) was one of the best known grillers / barbaquers of his time in the South, so I naturally learned how to grill just about everything that can be eaten. Both of my parents passed away when I was 14 and I have always wondered how much more they could have taught me about Food and life in general. All my "Culinary Adventures" are dedicated to their memory. My other main infuence is Vinny Comito, my wife's cousin. He is a Certified Executive Chef and has helped me refine my culinary technique. For those reasons, and others, cooking to me has become a real art; something I find much comfort in, and love to share with anyone.

Grilling for 200 family members at a family reunion with one person to help me.
My cooking tragedies
Breads, never quite got into it.
