Chicken Chimi in the Oven

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2012
great recipe! My whole family loved it. I cooked my chicken breast in the crock pot with some chicken broth. I used 2 lbs of chicken. I used a whole sweet onion & 4 cloves of garlic. I cut the cinnamon down to 1/4 tsp. When I was done with everything I loaded up the flour tortillas with the beans and chicken mixture, I sprinkled a little taco cheese on them and wrapped them. I didnt puree my chicken mixture and it was still perfect. We did freze the rest of the chimichangas. Thanks Again!

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2012
I was a little skeptical but I did try this recipe with only a few changes. After I cut up my apples I sprinkled them with brown sugar & cinnamon. I used 3/4 c of white sugar and 1/4 c of brown sugar and dissolved into the butter, this was Excellent & very EASY! Thank you my whole family loved them even my picky husband. Oh & I seen someone commented about it not tasting right bc of the crescent rolls, I believe if you are using Original & not Butter crescent rolls it is absolutley PERFECT! Thanksa Again! :)

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2012
I give this a 5 star b/c it is a very good recipe. I made a few alterations to flavor it up a bit. I cooked my chicken the night b4 in my crockpot for 5 hrs. When I made the chicken I used a packet of Italian seasoning on it and I put a can of chicken stock in the crockpot. I diced up a sweet onion, green, & red peppers & sauted them. I added that with the shredded chicken. The next day I did the rest in the morning so it was ready to throw in the oven. Very yummy! Thanks!

Baked Potato Skins

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2012
I baked potatoes in oven 1st. Let them cool. Split potatoes in 1/2. Scraped pulp out to have that for next meal. I mixed oil, I used extra virgin olive oil. I added all spices plus parsley & a little cumin. I only brushed the insides & baked for 8 more minutes. Perfect crunch. The bacon I used was the pre-cooked Hormel bacon & I put my cheese on them. Baked for 8 minutes. YUM! We loved them, Thanks!

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 19, 2010
The BEST cheesecake ever! I used two rows of Oreos for the crust, 1/4 c of melted butter & 1T of sugar mixed together & pressed into a springform pan. Using seedless rasberry preserves instead of doing step 2 makes things much easier. Just warm the preserves up a bit in microwave. Big hit with everyone! :) Thanks!
