Pie Crust IV

I substituted 1/4 milk for water and sprinkled some cinnamon in for a little extra flavor.

I made a few modifications. Too much vinegar. I would suggest only using 3/4 cup. A little more brown sugar and molasses made it sweeter. I also increased the spices to make it pop. Over all I'm very happy with the recipe.

Authentic Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

Cajun Chicken Pasta

My wife loved it. I used all organic ingredients. I substituted the Heavy Cream with Half & Half. I'll use the Heavy Cream next time just to make the sauce thicker. You can make your own cajun spice (Cayenne Pepper, White Pepper,Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, sea salt. I also used Penne Pasta. Very easy to make.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

OH BOY! These cookies are ridiculous. I've made them twice now. I added 3 tblsp of orange juice and 2 tsp of pwd ginger and 1 tsp of fresh ground ginger (added to wet mix). I added a little more cin, cloves also. Hard to mess this up either way. Let the batter sit for a couple hrs so it's easier to handle. I did with and with out the rolled sugar. Both are amazing.

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

this is a hit. I made it to use for a diet. My wife loved it and it makes enough to last for 2 weeks for 2 people. I didn't have the onion soup mix and it's still great without it.

Jewish Coffee Cake

I thought this cake needed more sugar. I substituted brown sugar for the white powdered. I'm going to add a 1/4 cup more white sugar to the dough and mix the brown sugar with a tblsp of powdered sugar for the topping. This cake is very moist so i will make it again with the noted changes. I'll get back to you on how it came out.
