Pear and Almond French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2012
This recipe was a big hit at a work potluck breakfast! This is really quite easy and the almond extract and almonds take this dish to different level of yumminess. I did not change a thing in the recipe, except to add a little bit more eggs and milk to cover all the bread. This will definitely be one of my "go-to" recipes. Thanks!

Summer Squash Puffs

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2010
My kids love this recipe! It's a great way to use the squash fresh from the garden (which they refuse to eat, if cooked). I added 3/4 cup of grated cheese. I also sauteed onions and garlic before adding it to the mixture. Wonderful! I could not cook these up fast enough for my family.

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2010
This recipe is very rich, but very good! I followed other's advice and added the toffee pieces and the caramel. I also made my own whipped cream for one of the layers. Everyone loved this and I have shared the recipe with numerous people. It's definitely a keeper!

Irish Cream Truffle Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2011
This was very rich, but very good! It definitely made enough for my 11 x 17 pan. I am somewhere between a 4 & 5 only because I would like to figure out a way to make it less rich. Anyway, it was good enough to make again!

Sweet Green Bean Bundles

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
3.5 Stars, really. I made this recipe as an alternative to the traditional green bean casserole for Thanksgiving. Kids gobbled these green beans up. I, however, found them to be too sweet. I will make them again, but I will definitely use less sugar next time. I also boiled for about 5 minutes then blanched to make cook time a little less when it was time to bake. Easy to prep ahead of time and just throw into the oven.
