Excellent, I used a crescent roll dough recips from this site. Wher I blended 1/2 whole wheat flour into the recipe. They were so good. A great Hot Pocket Idea. There is no limit to what you can fill them with. Thank you so much for this recipe.

This dough is fabulous to work with. I made exactly as instructed and used the dough to make sausage crescent rolls. They were delicious. Can also use 1/2 whole wheat flour. I will be making this again and again.

Caribbean Sweet Potato Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
Penny P says: This was a lot of work to prepare, but the results were definitely worth it. I added a few extra cloves of crushed fresh garlic to this (about 4 total)which gave it a great kick and a wonderful aroma. I made this for a BBQ with some other side dishes, and this was the one dish that everyone finished. I got lots of compliments on this one. It's also really colorful and looks nice on the table. The different textures in the ingredients are what made this so unique and delicious. NOTE--I tripled this recipe and it came out fantastic.

Megan's Granola

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
Took Ggrasley advice: "I do like cooking it on convection at 200 for about 50 min. It takes three cookie sheets and with convection and/or a low temp you don't have to fear burning the granola." Contributer note: There is a slight mistake on the recipe. My original calls for 1 Tablespoon (not teaspoon) of cinnamon and 1 Tablespoon of vanilla. Use 1/2 applesauce and 1/2 oil for healthier blend.

Garlic Cheese Flatbread

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
Per the review of Toasty Mama Took the advice of several other reviewers and added 6 cloves minced garlic to the dough. Dough was a little sticky and I did add about an additional 1/2 of flour overall to keep it manageable. Also greased pan with olive oil and then sprinkled some cornmeal to keep it from sticking and poked holes in dough. Changed butter spread to 1/2 olive oil, 1/2 butter 1/2 tsp oregano and a clove of garlic and spread on the dough. Then from BATMAN BEYOND's review of Parmesian Foccacia Bread (a bread machine recipe) which suggested chopping a fresh tomato - I used two small ones and some fresh basil as well - and saute in just a little olive oil with some fresh garlic salt. Then sprinkled the tomato mixture over the butter/olive oil spread on the dough. Lastly sprinkle on the parmesian cheese and bake. I used the same temp, but it took about 10 minutes longer to bake and set up in the middle. So good!

Caramels I

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2008
First, I only use 1 cup corn syrup. I boil the sugar (1/2 brown sugar) and corn syrup to 350 degrees, then remove from heat and add butter (only about 1 stick, usually less) and 1 tsp. salt. Then I add the cream to the mixture, but I heat it first. Add the hot cream in a slow stream while stirring constantly, then return to the heat and boil to 250 degrees. Comes out perfect every time. Pour into greased 11 x 13 pan.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
I refrigerated dough overnight and worked with small parts of dough to roll in confectioners sugar. Cookies spread while baking and lost shape. Very disappointed, as I love this type of cookie. Not happy at all with the end result for all the expense and effort.
