Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

These brownies were amazing!!! Thank you so much for this recipe.... I will make these from now on. If you are debating between this recipe and another... chose this recipe, you wont be sorry. It is half the fat of most other recipes and it tastes so much better. I actually did a little experiment. I couldn't decide between this recipe and the One Bowl Brownies recipe from this site (because the picture looked so good), so I halved both recipes twice and made a little baby pan of each and my boyfriend and I both decided that these were a MILLION times better. These will go into my secret recipe book... Thank you again!!!

One Bowl Brownies

These were mediocre at best. They weren't very chocolaty at all. I halved the recipe twice and made a tiny batch as I always do with new recipes (following it exactly), because I dont want to waste ingredients on a bad recipe. I also did this with Brookes Best Bombshell Brownies at the same time (last night) and had a little taste test. There wasn't even a moments hesitation when my boyfriend and I decided that Brookes Brownies were a million times better. I was fooled by the picture for this recipe... because it looks like this recipe will make amazing brownies... but it doesn't... TRUST ME! Plus Brookes Brownies are half the fat of these ones!!!!!

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

This frosting was sooo tasty. It had a great texture and just the right amount of every ingredient. I used fat free cream cheese and confectioners sugar. I was trying to cut down on the fat, because who needs any extra, right??? Anyway, this was awesome frosting and I will definitely make it again.

Pumpkin Bars I

These are soooo good. I made them yesterday to take to a church function and they didn't last very long!!! I made a cream cheese frosting to go with it... omg... they were fabulous. They were very moist. I did add extra cinnamon, with some ginger and nutmeg for a little extra pumpkin pie flavor... which I would recommend to anyone wanting to try this. They tasted just like a pumpkin pie with cream cheese frosting. DELICIOUS!!!

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

I thought this soup as the directions are written was not good at all. I found it odd that there was no water measurement, so maybe I put in too much water because it was very watery. I ended up adding a whole jar of spaghetti sauce just to get it some substance, and also many many spices for a little flavor. I added a little cayenne pepper for a little spice. After doctoring it up a bit it was OK. Still not as delicious as other reviewers have mentioned. With that said, I did have a bowl for dinner last night and the night before and have lost 2 pounds. So it may not taste great, but I guess I can deal with it for a little while in order to lose a couple pounds.

Brown Family's Favorite Pumpkin Pie

This pie was fabulous. My boyfriend who LOVES pumpkin pie said it was the best he had ever had (and he's hard to please). I sent one over to his parents as well and was praised for it. Thank you for making me look good!!! Just wanted to add a note: the batter looked really thin and looked like WAAAAYYYY too much sweetened condensed milk at first that I thought I ruined it... but it eventually mixed well and turned out just fine. So if anyone has the same reaction... don't worry, it will be just fine!!

Whipped Cream

This whipped cream was very easy to make. It was also very tasty. I added a little cinnamon because I was making it to go with pumpkin pie. Yummy!!!

Easy Italian Herb Focaccia

This was very good. The bread had a great texture. I only give it 4 stars because I think next time I will put some seasoning in the dough instead of just on top. I also think I will put minced garlic, fresh basil, rosemary and crushed red peppers in the olive oil for dipping. It just wasn't as tasty as I expected. With a couple of modifications, this can be a great recipe!

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

These were amazing!!! They were so much like the ones I crave from Red Lobster. The only thing is that they didn't look done even though they were. They came out kinda white, but they still tasted great. Thank you so much for the recipe!!

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

These cookies were great! A few reviewers said the batter was a bit too thin, I followed the recipe exactly and thought it was the perfect consistency. It was nice and thick for me. I used a 2 ounce cookie scoop and maybe I should have used a 1 ounce because they didn't spread much and I was nervous that the middle wasn't done, but they came out fine. I think next time I will use a smaller scoop. I will definitely make these again.

Soft and Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies

FINALLY!!! I have been looking for a peanut butter cookie recipe forever. Well, of course I have found plenty, but none that lived up to their name of soft and chewy. My dad always loved the cookies I would bring home from the school cafeteria when I was younger. They were moist, chewy and super peanut buttery. Well I've been on a 6 year quest to reproduce these for him. All of the other recipes I've tried were only soft for about 5 minutes after baking, and then turned to rocks, but these are still soft even now (a day later). I am so excited. By the way I doubled the amount of peanut butter and vanilla... FANTASTIC!!! Thank you for this recipe. And to the people who said these weren't good, you should give them another try... maybe you did something wrong!!!
