Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: May 18, 2015
Best cinnamon rolls I've ever had! I prepped these the night before (formed the rolls and put in a greased 9x13" pan), covered and put in the frige until morning. Took them out 30 minutes before baking and topped with cream cheese frosting post-bake. Very sweet, but paired them with some fresh fruit! I will definitely be making these again.

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
This is a great classic Italian recipe with lots of great flavors! You must like Italian seasoning to enjoy this recipe because the flavor does stand out over the other ingredients. Luckily, my family and I do! I used fat free sour cream, 1/2 an onion (rather than a whole onion) and black pepper instead of white and it was so tasty! Have made this twice and will continue to make it in the years to come! Thanks for sharing!

Jalapeno Popper Cups

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
I have made this appetizer twice now and both times it was a hit! I would recommend trying to use jalapenos that are not crazy spicy otherwise you have a lot of mouths on fire! Because the main ingredient is the jalapenos, these can get a little spicy! Love the use of the phyllo shells and how quick and easy they are to make. They also can be prepped before-hand and stored in the frige if needed. Great quick app!

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
This sauce is AMAZING! It's the perfect compliment to the recipe for the Southwest Eggrolls on this site. It's pretty quick and easy and can also be frozen and thawed and still tastes great!

Baked Penne

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
This is a great, classic Italian dish! The Philly cooking creme was a great touch! I didn't use the entire amount (only used about 1/2 cup and none on top) because my husband is not crazy about real creamy dishes and it was still wonderful! Even my picky husband liked it! Next time I might add a little more meat or try with sausage as others recommended. Thanks for sharing!

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
I have made this recipe multiple times now and everyone LOVES it! I did reduce the sugar and did not end up using all of the liquid once combined only because my husband is not crazy about "wet" salads. I have tried this with elbow macaroni, farfalle, and gemelli and they were all fantastic!

Lisa's Favorite Carne Asada Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
I followed this recipe to a T and it came out amazing. I have tried it twice - once marinating it only 30 mins, and the other overnight and both ways it turned out outstanding. Will definitely continue to use this one!

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
After making this recipe I will never use another for chicken enchiladas! Even my husband, who doesn't care of Mexican food much, loved these! I did use more taco sauce in lieu of the water and tomato sauce and it wasn't too wet as the other reviewers commented. This will definitely become a staple in our household. Thanks Debbie!

Broccoli Beef I

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
This is a quick easy and VERY tasty recipe! The key is to not over cook the ingredients. I followed the recipe to a T and the sauce is perfect as is. We have made this many times and will continue to do so! Thank you! :)

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
Definite keeper! I used chicken broth rather than the water, mild enchilada sauce but added some spice by doing 1/2 of the chopped green chile peppers and 1/2 spicy jarred jalapenos. It was just the right amount of kick! I also used 1 can of diced tomatoes rather than whole mashed. The tortilla strips, cheese and sour cream brought it all together. I also added black beans after the soup to my own portion after the soup was done because my husband does not like them. They were also a great addition.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2010
Believe the reviews! These really are amazing! I made these for a get together and doubled the recipe. They were a HUGE hit! I used won ton wrappers and baked them instead of tortillas and frying. The jalapenos I used were VERY spicy so made them a little hotter than I had expected. I also served these with "Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce" and they were wonderful. Even my husband who 'dislikes' mexican food LOVED them! Thank you Jackie! UPDATE! So I was curious to see how the recipe varied by using egg roll wrappers or tortillas, and a frying or baking each of them. I have tried all 4 varieties and have to say that the method of frying the ones in the egg roll wrappers are by far the best! I thought this was the best recipe ever until I tried this and they're even that much better now!

Five-Veggie Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2009
This is one of my boyfriend's favorite dishes that I make. Very quick and easy. I added chicken and used Worcestershire sauce and omitted the OJ and it was tasty! This already has been and will continue to be a repeat in our home.

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2009
This was a tasty recipe! Rather than using green chili's I chopped up a jalapeno to give the recipe a little kick and it was great! Next time I might use fresh tomatoes but overall this was a great side dish for chicken burritos!

Chicken and Mushroom Saute

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2009
This was an excellent dish! I too substituted the water & bouillon for 1 cup of chicken broth and used about 5 fresh mushrooms rather than canned and it was FANTASTIC! I will definitely make this one again.

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
This was my first chili that I have attempted and it came out fantastic! I made it for a Superbowl party and it was a huge hit! I added a little Worcestershire sauce and a jalapeno to give it a little kick and garnished with oyster crackers and shredded cheddar cheese. Next time I would add more kidney and pinto beans and maybe a can of chopped or fresh tomatoes. Will definitely make this one again.
