Marshmallow Fondant

This is the first time I worked with fondant and it was A LOT easier than I expected. I found I needed to add about double the amount of icing sugar. I wish the instructions had mentioned how really to work with the butter...I was a bit confused

Grilled Pork Chops with Fresh Nectarine Salsa

This was a real treat! We mixed the spices right into the olive il and brushed on while cooking. My husband and I both commented on how nicely the flavours in the rub mixed with the salsa. We are going to try it again tomorrow but with chicken!

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

LOVE these! Served to my hubby and guests and everyone raved -- even my husband who doesn't even like pineapple OR mushrooms! Next time I will substitute pepper chunks and onion and see how that goes!

Iced Tea II

Great Iced tea. I am currently nursing so the caffeine is not good for my little one. I substituted regular tea for decaf and it worked just fine!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew IV

My husband and I really enjoyed the stew. Don't brown the meat too much or it will become tough. I did not add the red wine as I am pregnant. Next time I would add frozen corn and beans for more veggies.

Chicken Chili Soup

Nice blend of spices, not too spicy but a good kick. Mght like to rty with ground chiken next time. Husband loved it -- great as a healthy choice.
