All Day Apple Butter

This apple butter is DIVINE!! I made it exactly as the recipe states, and I used Cortland apples that I ordered in bulk. I used about 20 medium apples, and it made 4 pints of apple butter. I can't wait to try this with another kind of apple!

Buttermilk Syrup

My husband won't eat the store-bought stuff anymore! This syrup is WONDERFUL! Occasionally I will add different extracts (rum or maple) for a change.

Mock Coconut Pie (Spaghetti Squash Pie)

I made this for a potluck, and people were definitely fooled. They couldn't believe that there was no coconut in the pie. I thought it was pretty tasty, especially with some homemade whipped cream. I found that it took longer to cook to make the knife come out clean, but then my crust tasted burnt even after putting aluminim foil over the edges. I think next time I'll try it without the crust.

Banana Pudding IV

I received many compliments on this banana pudding at my church potluck. Basically every husband asked me to send their wives the recipe! The only changes that I made were very minor. I used French vanilla pudding and I made homemade whipped cream in place of the whipped topping.

Pizza Pinwheels

I served these as an appetizer before homemade pizza, and my friends loved them. I was not a fan of the "crescent roll taste", but overall I thought they were pretty good. I agree that is is not as messy if you chop the pepperoni first, then mix all the filling ingredients together.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

What a great recipe! I had several requests for the recipe when I brought it to a Ladies' meeting. I would recommend throwing in some Cheddar cheese for additional "popper" flavor. Update: A friend of mine loved this so much that she served it at her daughter's wedding!

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

WONDERFUL!! This is a great recipe because it is made with ingredients that are always in my pantry. We won't be buying the canned stuff anymore! The only changes that I made were to cut the amount of brown sugar in half and add some chopped onion when cooking the ground beef.

Easy Beef Stroganoff

This is the best beef stroganoff, and so easy and inexpensive to make. Don't make any changes and it turns out great!!
