This is a lovely, light dessert. My husband loves it and everyone keeps asking me to make it again. My friend describes its taste as an orange creampopsicle.

Hash Brown Casserole II

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
EXCELLENT! I made this on Christmas morning. People got really quiet and wouldn't stop eating. Then, they had seconds. After reading all the reviews here are the changes I made. I substituted the cream of chicken for mushroom. Used french fried onions instead of cornflakes (I put it in the last 10-15 min, so they don't burn). I sprinkled some extra cheese on top of the french fried onions. This is definately a keeper in my brunch collection. THANKS CMANSKY and ALLRECIPES

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2009
My family and friends not only had seconds but they also had third!. That was a huge HIT on Christmas morning. I read all the reviews and these are the changes I made. I used Half and Half instead of milk; used a bag of Marie Callender Cheddar/Garlic Croutons instead of 6 slices of bread. I added 3tbs of scallions to the milk/ egg mixture and I increased a bit the amount of dry mustard. I also used 6 eggs. I can't express my gratitud enought to ALLRECIPES for this wonderful recipe. My husband was upset that I did not make another batch!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
I have baked it twiece now! IT'S OUT OF THIS WORLD. I followed the recipe to the T. The only changes I made was that I maded my own oil crust (also from this site), added a pinch of nutmeg, 1 Tbs of vanilla and 1/2 Tbs of cinnamon to the syrup. My husband who is a picky eater gave me "5 stars" and said that its better than his mom's apple pie (which its really hard to achieve). His brother and nephew asked for seconds and kept raving about the crust and the flavour of the pie!!!! Thank you so much for such a wonderful recipe. THIS IS MY APPLE PIE RECIPE FROM NOW ON!!! THE VERY BEST OF THE BEST!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
This a great recipe!. I made it last Sunday and it was excelent. Delicious taste. Like Trisha I used olive oil and I decresed the amont of sugar. It was not sweet enough but it was still great. I made it into rolls. One of my co-worker gave me 7 out 5. I will try next time adding more sugar and 1/4 of maple syrop or malt, then in the last minute of baking, I will butter the top of it to brown it, then add sugar on it. Simple DIVINE!

I followed this recipe to the T and it was fantastic. My picky husband loved it and even my 7yrs old daughter kept asking for more. Very easy and delicious. The only change I made was that I cooked it in low in the crock pot for about 5 hours. I will make it over and over again.

I thought it was good. Too sweet for my taste but overall good. It looks lovely and it was really easy to make. I also added lemon extract and a pinch of cinnamon to syrop. Everybody loved it at Christmas Eve party even though I forgot to put the extra phillo sheets in the end. I will make it again.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2008
This is easy, delicious, tender and very juicy! If you like pork chops, you should try this recipe. Its just PERFECT. I used a good pinot griggio wine and indeed it makes the difference! One comment about the wine, if you won't drink it, then don't use it! This is a keeper.

Chocolate Cakes with Liquid Centers

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
This recipe is fantantic, elegant and very easy. It is certainly a winner. I have made a few changes since I needed to make it for 6 servings but the result was EXCELLENT. 1) I use 8 ounces of chocolate chips (Ghiraldelli or Hershey,semi-sweet chocolate). 2) 6tbs of unsalted butter.3) 4 big eggs. 4) 1/2 flour. As I don't have a double boiler I heated the butter and chocolate in a heavy pan until melted. I set it aside to cool down. I mixed the flour, sugar and eggs together. I put the eggs, one at the time. Once it got the light creamy colour that they talk about in the recipe, I mixed it for 5 more minutes. Then, I folded in the melted chocolate and butter with a wooden spoon into the egg mixture. Next, I refrigerated the batter for al least 1 hour (that is up to you, the longer it refrigerates the more the flavour inhances). Before I bake it, I let it sit to room temperature. I poured the batter into the six molds that I had sprayed and bake it in my preheated over (375 degrees F) for about 15 minutes or until de middle looks cracked. Before I turn them upside down into the plate, I let it cool for 5 min. Serve it inmediately with cold raspberry sauce and ice cream. ENJOY IT THIS HEAVENLY DESSERT!!
