Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2008
My boyfriend loved this but I found it to taste like watered down cream cheese.

Garlic Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2008
This was good but I would cut the red pepper in half. It was overwhelmingly spicey for my boyfriend and I-and he loves spice. It was in fact, too spicey for us to eat that day so we had to wait till the next day!

Spinach and Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2008
This was good but I agree with some of the other reviews in that it seemed to missing something. I threw in a twist and added some roasted red pepper alfredo sauce that obviously changed the nature of the dish but tasted really good with the other ingredients.

Chicken with Asparagus and Roasted Red Peppers

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
Very good overall. Be careful with overcooking the veggies as it can ruin the meal!

Fabulous Wet Burritos

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2008
Really good for the short amount of time it took to make. My boyfriend suggested adding some rice to the mix so the burritos were a little fuller and putting some guacamole and sour cream on top as well. To make it easier for serving, I rolled the burritos a lined them up in a 9x13 glass pyrex and then spooned the sauce on top of them all. I added my cheese and other toppings and placed it in the oven for about ten minutes-long enough to melt the cheese. Then I served each burrito with a spatula.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2008
Really tasty way of making salmon. I didn't have time to grill so I used the advice of making foil packets and cooking in the over. This worked out well. I can't wait to try it on the grill!

Gobble Up Granola Snacks

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2008
These were quite tasty but I agree with the other reviews that you can be a little more creative than the recipe and add other items rather than just raisens. I also used double peanut butter and honey instead of corn syrup which was the way to go. As for spreading the mix in the dish, do not use a wooden spoon. I used wax paper with a little cooking spray on it and it worked perfecty. I smoothed out the granola easy without having it stick to anything but itself. Also the trick of putting it in the fridge for an hour to cool and cut into squares works really well. :)

Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2008
Pretty good, too salty however. Next time I will cut the salt in half but overall really yummy and a unique way to eat broccoli. Great way to get your vegetables in that you not only enjoy but don't loose all the vitamins by method of cooking.

Really good. I too was scrambled for time though and used my george foreman grill. I followed another reviews directions and it turned out perfect. Refreshingly good.

Kim's Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
Really good! I tend to not like the over the top mayonaise though so I used a little extra macaroni but it turned out great. The spice from the jalapenos was just right. I'd say next time though I'd consider adding a little more pepper or chile peppers or maybe even cumin because it felt like it was missing something.

Icy Blender Lemonade

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
It was good but I agree with the other reviews. The pulp was a little too much and there needed to be more lemon invlolved. I will try some of the others ideas next time, but overall a great baseline for lemonade!
