About this Cook
I've been cooking Since I could, it all started out with making coffee and chocolate chip cookies with my brother. I would get a little burn on my finger every now and then, but only cause after my mom seasoned the ground beef in the pan, I'd sneak a couple (more like half of it) bites when she wasn't looking. I love to draw sew and camp, it all runs in the family, including my blue eyes. all blue on my grandpa's side, green on grandma's, but it's hazil on my dad's side, my brother got that. A couple months ago I started a family Cook book, all secret recipes. Well, some we altered a little from the internet, but they still have The Moen family's Secret touch. My real name: Krisha Moen. I named my self Dandilion because My mom loves them so much, and eventually I started to too. They're not really a weed, Well, technichally they are, but they're a flower sent from heaven, I swear! You can use the white stuff in the stem as cream, Make medicine and Spice, and eat it!
My favorite things to cook
Gourmet, Cookies(choco chip And grandma's secret molasses drop), Chili and potatoe soup, Various asian Flavoured stir fry, Rice dishes, Stuff from other countries mostly, other than my Good old Canadian foods, My mom usually tries to teach me Cool stuff that we usually dont buy right out of the store, that way it doesn't have so much Fat and Salt...
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cooking traditions... I'm really not sure, We just like to mix up spices and Stuff tha we think might taste good- OMG! I just thought of some thing- What if I was to flavour (like A spicy sauce) My mashed potatoes! Thats What I was Craving all day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My cooking triumphs
Made Coffee cake, Brought it to school, Class mates loved it! Especially the one I flavoured with chocolate! The first time I made Potatoe soup, My mom was at work, and we didn't have potatoes so I decided to boil and steam french fries, I flavoured it with a wack load of salt And thyme and this leaf thing (I dunno what it's called) And when my mom came home she was like, drueling over the taste!
My cooking tragedies
Last year (grade 7) (I just turned 13 last month) I was baking cookies for a bake sale, And the worst thing That had ever happened to me, well, happened (I've never been to the hospital, broken a bone, Had to get stiches or ANY THING)(But I did faint and turn blue when I got My shot (age 5)). I decided not to use gloves to take the cookie tray out of the oven, so I folded the little towel hanging off the oven door and used that. I went to get the cookies, and BURN! If your wondering what happened, You know how Heat rises? The broil burner on the top of the oven got really hot, and the top of my hand was exposed, so when I lifted the tray a little to high, my hand hit that burner. My right hand had a big burn from my index finger knuckle all the way down to thumb bone close to my wrist. it was like, four millimeters wide too. curved like the burner. I had it for like, 3 weeks, and now I have an ugly, faded scar.

I decided to change it and put it in the Moen Recipe Book, It makes it all that much better.
