Vegan Split Pea Soup II

This was delicious! I used the lower fat cream cheese, and a little less of it, and I also omitted the cilantro, because my man doesn't like it. (But I'm sure it would have been great with it, too) I just gave it 4 stars because I think it would have been a little too cream-cheesey with the amount the recipe calls for. Otherwise, really yummy, good use of black beans and relatively healthy.

This was great and super easy. My guests asked for the recipe. One suggestion though, I would use low-sodium soy sauce, or possibly a little less soy sauce next time. It was a little salty.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Fabulous. I made these and brought them to work. Several people said they were the best cinnamon buns that they have ever had. ALSO, I love that the dough is made in the bread machine. Although it takes some time, it's actually a very easy recipe.

Bev's Orange Chicken

This was pretty good, but I think it could use some improvement. It had good flavor, but something was lacking. I doubled the sauce, based on some of the reviews, and I think I would have liked it better if there was less sauce, and it had boiled down a little. I also used boneless skinless breasts instead of thighs, so maybe that changed it as well.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies II

Delicious! I made a few changes: I used a whole cup of butter instead of half shortening. I also added a teaspoon of almond extract. For me, this is really key in a good white choc macadamia cookie. Highly recommend adding the almond extract!

Soft Peanut Butter Cookies

These cookies were fabulous, but I did add more peanut butter, after reading the reviews. I think I ended up adding almost a whole cup of PB. The cookies were soft and delicious. A little crumbly, but still very good. Also, I did not chill the dough. It was plenty firm as-is.

Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

These cookies are heavenly! Soft, delicate, and very chocolatey! I didn't change anything (which is rare) I have made similar cookies before, but the addition of chocolate chips, really puts this recipe ahead of the others.
