Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints
Phenomenal cookies. These came out perfectly on the first try, following the recipe almost exactly, besides using margarine in place of butter, since I had no real butter at the time. Surprisingly they still came out perfectly. I made this recipe for my mother, who says her grandmother used to make them. I'm not usually a fan of shortbread cookies, and especially not almond flavorings, but these were just delicious, even I couldn't say no to them. I made three batches: lemon, banana and strawberry. The lemon are my favorite :)

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins
As-is, these muffins are only okay. I followed the recipe exactly, and while they aren't bad, they're nothing great, either. It's not that they're totally bland, just that they could do with a little MORE flavor. Even my sweet-loving niece wasn't very enthusiastic about these. They bake well, are moist, don't stick to the pan, and look pretty - they just need a little more flavor.

Felix K.'s 'Don't even try to say these aren't the best you've ever eaten, because they are' Chocolate Chip Cookies
I followed the recipe exactly, and am a pretty good baker usually. I was worried that so many people say their dough is very stiff; mine wasn't. I used the 3 1/2 cups flour specified, and did not overmix, so I'm not sure why my results would be different. Out of the oven, these are amazing. Soft and yummy and just perfect. They did take me closer to 20 minutes to finish baking, but other than that they're exactly what they should be. Perfect five stars.
