Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2008
I thought this was delicious. Even my boyfriend, who is not a cooked spinach fan enjoyed his. I made one with a breast and one with a thigh, and I found the thigh to be much more tender and flavorful. It really soaked up more of the flavor.

This was fantastic. I'm a seafood nut and this just made me get up for seconds... and thirds...

Honey-Mustard Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2008
It was somewhat bland and took a long time to make. I'll make it again if I'm feeling ambitious and experimental with spices.

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
This was an incredibly easy recipe, but I found that an entire onion was too much. Next time, I'll use half. I also added some barbecue sauce to the meat which kept the meat from getting dry.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
Wonderful! So easy, and so good. I added some chocolate chips because both my boyfriend and myself are chocolate fanatics. Not as healthy, but definitely tasty.

Scones

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2008
These were great, just a little bit dry. Next time I'll add some fruit, and possibly use whole wheat flour to make it a little bit healthier.

Heavenly Angel Food Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
I made this for my boyfriend's birthday, and probably won't make it again. He loved it, but I could feel the cavities drilling into my teeth. For all the work that this takes, it tastes pretty much the same as one you'd buy at a store. Next time, I'll probably just do that.

Easy Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
Wonderful. I did make some changes. I added liberal amounts of chili powder to the beef and salsa mixture while it was simmering to give it that chili kick, as I didn't have chili beans on hand. Instead of chili beans, I used half black beans and half chick beans, and I also added some corn. My boyfriend ate half of the entire dish, so this is definitely one I'll make again.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2008
This was delicious! My boyfriend went back for thirds. I added more ham, some garlic powder and fresh parsley, and it was mouthwatering. This is such a versatile recipe that I'm sure it'd be mouth watering no matter what you added to it.

This was amazing. Fast, easy, tasty, and everyone went back for seconds. It's also pretty good cold the next day for lunches.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
I figured I would give it 5 stars just based on how it smelled in the oven, but from the way it tastes, I wish I could give it 6. Best pumpkin bread I've ever had, with no changes to the recipe.

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
I followed this recipe exactly, and it was delicious! So creamy and rich... a little bit too rich. I tried using light cream cheese, but still had to half the amount. Still, delicious!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
I did what some of the other people here did and doubled the dough recipe, but made the filling as is. That way, it made more than about 20 cookies. This recipe is quick and delicious, and my boyfriend promptly ate almost all of them.

Rugelach III

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
These were tasty, but incredibly messy. It took me almost as much time to get the baked jam off the greased tray as it did for me to make the cookies.

Apple Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2009
It was alright, but pretty bland. I took some of the suggestions from the other reviews and added cinnamon, thyme, basil, garlic, and a little bit of brown sugar to the apple mix and that tasted great. my problem was with the chicken. It didn't seem to absorb any of the bite of the wine. Next time, I'll marinate it in some olive oil and spices first.

Grilled Halibut with Cilantro Garlic Butter

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
I took some hints from other reviewers and marinated this in olive oil, lime juice, and salt and pepper for a few hours before hand, and it turned out with a lovely subtle flavour. My boyfriend hates cilantro, and he finished this, went back for seconds, and said he loved it. Granted, that was before he knew what was in it... ;)

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2009
By themselves, these were amazing. The second time I made them, I went a little nuts and added not only the semi-sweet chips, but some Peanut butter Chipits, chopped macademia nuts, and some all natural peanut butter. They weren't as fluffy, but I thought they were even tastier. These will be my contribution to the 10 or so guys here tomorrow for the Superbowl.

Amish Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2009
I don't have a bread maker, so I followed the comments of some of the other reviews and did it in my oven. I used 3 tsp of yeast, dissolved in the warm water for about 10 minutes or so, and 3 cups of flour. Mixed everything up, let it rise for about 30 minutes, kneaded it and let it rise again for 30 minutes, then put it in the oven for about 25 minutes at 350 degrees. So simple and SO tasty!
