About this Cook
I believe we are what we eat, so I try my best to cook up foods that are healthy for the men in my life. As a legacy I'd like to leave behind, I'm in the process of developing my own cookbook filled with pics of the kids and DH enjoying the food I've made!
My favorite things to cook
Middle eastern food! It's a lot of work, but its healthy and oh so yummy!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I start to cook, my hubby comes in and alters it without telling me. Those are usually our BEST meals :)
My cooking triumphs
My roast chicken is a hit every time.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I tried to caramelize onions, I burned them. To soften the blow, my hubby and his friends ate some and commented at how nicely they turned out. :)

Dessert Crepes
This was a great, easy recipe...I just think it was a bit too eggy for me.

Shrimp Scampi Bake
We just finished eating this for dinner...amazing! Better than any restaurant. I added salt and pepper, increased the amount of garlic, and used less butter in the sauce. I then threw some halved grape tomatoes, grated parmesan and bread crumbs as per others reviews before placing all in the oven. So wonderful over angel hair pasta with a side salad!
