Filipino Avocado Milkshake

This drink is ok. I didn't have sugar so I used an extra scoop of ice cream and splenda for sweetener. This drink isn't as good as some of the avocado milkshakes that are served in the Filipino restaurants but it's good. And yes I'm Filipino and I grew up with abaca do milkshakes.

Chocolate Velvet Ice Cream

This recipe was SOOO yummy. I tried to blend the chocolate chips in the blender (my chopper broke) and that did not work at all, so I just threw the chocolate chips in as is. I also added a half cup of almond slices into the ice cream while turning and it came out great!!! I will do it again but with less chocolate chips

SOOOO yummy. I would add more garlic to the recipe. Perhaps 12 or 15 cloves but I do love garlic!

Crabmeat Quiche

I recently had Lapband surgery and this was something I cooked THE DAY I was able to eat solid foods (2 weeks post-surgery) and this was AMAZING!!! the flavors were really good and it was really easy to make. I enjoy this recipe a lot. I'd like to try it with a mixture of real crab and artificial.

My Best Clam Chowder

WOW!!! I love this recipe of clam chowder. Though I didn't read the step about keeping the clam juice and I tossed it, but surprisingly enough, this came out REALLY yummy. I think if I added the clam juice, it would be a little too fishy for my taste and my husband HATES seafood. he did enjoy this soup!! I would make it again and again!

BEST MARINADE EVER!!! Yes, when they say "best steak marinade in Existence" I AGREE!!!!! This was sooo yummy. A friend of mine is a food snob when it comes to marinade and when she had the steaks, she was in food heaven!!!!

Baked Salmon II

This is the BEST recipe that I have for salmon! I've tried different recipes on this site but this is the best one for my taste. Even my mom loved it and she is very picky with spices. Very easy to make and I will make it again and again!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

LOVE THIS RECIPE!!! I love how it was VERY easy to make and it only takes a few mins to cook the fish. I didn't have onion powder on hand so I used garlic powder instead. I would take some people's advice and add bread crumbs on top to give it a crisp.

Spaghetti Carbonara II

This was okie. I made everything as the recipe said (even adding the wine) and it was very bland and oily for me. It wasn't the greatest carbonara but it was edible. If I make it again, I would listen to the comments.

Cranberry, Sausage and Apple Stuffing

It was FANTASTIC! I made this for the family on thanksgiving and everyone keeps talking about it. I double up on the recipe since I had to serve 17 mouths. Plus, I didn't change a single thing in this recipe and it came out great. The only thing I did differently was I didn't stuff the turkey. I baked the entire dish in a casserole pan and it turned out fantastic. I can't wait to make this for Christmas and new years!
