World's Best Potato Salad
I'd like to give this 4 1/2 stars only because I changed a few things as some suggested. I used 2 oz cider vinegar and 2 oz plain; the 1 tsp celery seed; 1/3 c sugar (next time I will only use 1/4 c)and I doubled the cornstarch. It didn't specify what kind of butter to use and since I didn't have any, I used 4 tbs stick parkay. My salad turned out really good but a little too sweet. I mixed my dressing in while the potatoes were too warm and made the potatoes a little mushier than I like. I should have cooled potatoes more. My husband liked it very much but when I asked if he liked this one more than my regular, he said "Isn't this your regular?" LOL My son, however, loved the vinegary taste, didn't think it was too sweet and thought the sauce had a deviled egg taste. Kaye, I think I will make your "world's best" for our family reunion and see how it goes over. Thanks for sharing!
