Excellent and dependable recipe but needs a little spice added to it. I made the following additions:
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
At 50 minutes I basted to top of the loaf with melted sweet butter and sprinkled it with cinnamon sugar. This gives the bread a deliciously tasty crust.
Also, if you do not have enough mashed banana, add apple sauce to finish it off. it makes the bread very moist!
All in all, an very excellent and dependable recipe! I did not need to make any changes to cook this at high altitude ( 9,300+ ft)
