Cheeseburger Soup II

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2012
There's a local restaurant that serves a cheeseburger soup that my husband and son love but I never made it at home because I wasn't wild about it; it was more like cheese dip in consistency and richness. Made this soup as written with the exception of decreasing the veggies for my picky family and it was excellent: flavorful without being overwhelming. I served it with crusty french bread and everyone was talking about how they would eat the leftovers. From my family, that's five starts.

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2012
While I tweaked the spices to my family's taste, it is a great basic recipe and I'll always use flour in my french toast from here forward. Thanks, Bonnie!

Affy Tapple Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
I wasn't able to make this recipe exactly as written the first time because I couldn't find instant tapioca and unsalted peanuts at my local grocery. I use vanilla or butterscotch-flavored pudding and salted peanuts and it has become a family favorite for over a year. Thank you for such a great recipe!

BLT Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2010
I used Bacon Ranch dressing because that's what I had on hand and green onions because of personal preference and this salad was great. Simple, fast and flavorful. Thanks, Zetia, for sharing!

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2009
My husband and children are about the pickiest eaters I know and everyone in the family loved this recipe. They balked a bit at the french fried onions idea, but loved the taste. I followed the recipe as written and I don't plan to try to improve upon it. It was fast and easy to put together and the ingredients are all pantry/freezer friendly which is perfect for working families who don't plan menus well in advance. Thank you, Stefanie!

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
I made the recipe exactly as it was written and I had no complaints. The dressing is quite sweet but I served this with ham and the sweet cut the salt of the ham nicely. Very quick and easy and pretty much all of the ingredients are pantry items so it doesn't require an extra trip to the store which earns extra points in my book.

Triple the Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2008
I've been making these exactly as the recipe is written for five or six years now. If you aren't a ginger fan, look for a different recipe because these are for those who are looking for a cookie with a bite. I read another reviewer's comment that she didn't like them because of getting bites of the crystallized ginger; that's exactly why I love them!
