About this Cook
I'm a college student learning to cook for myself!
My favorite things to cook
I'm always experimenting with stir fry ingredients and sauces, as well as new sandwiches and salads. And you can never go wrong with chicken.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Pizzelles, homemade ravioli, Christmas cheese ball, and Fourth of July potato salad. But not at the same time.
My cooking triumphs
The first meal I actually cooked for a group was for 8 people: chicken fettucine alfredo (with homemade sauce), broccoli, garlic bread, and pudding cups. Amazingly, it all came out at exactly the right time and was a huge hit. After studying abroad in Europe, I wanted to recreate the delicious Greek food in Athens and Santorini: my chicken souvlaki with tzatziki sauce rocked!
My cooking tragedies
When my boyfriend asked me to make him peanut butter balls, I neglected to realize the difference between regular sugar and confectioner's sugar. Needless to say, all I had was basically a huge bowl of sugary sand-- nothing stuck together!

Caribbean Chicken Salad
All the components of the salad come together perfectly. The dressing was a little too vinegar-y for me, but otherwise, delicious.
