Green Grape Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2004
Great flavor, I just had trouble getting the cream cheese and sour cream smooth. Next time I will use a Mixer. I made with fat free sour cream and low fax cream cheese.

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2004
Very yummy but time consuming. I made two so it took that much longer. I used half low fat sausage and 1/2 ground beef. I also used the diced tomatoes and past with the oregeno, garlic and basil flavor (most brands sell that now, I used dole). I did not drain the diced tomatoes. I had plenty of sauce and the flavor was great! I made it the night before and cooked for about 1 and 1/2 hours.

Egg Drop Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2003
I had tried another egg drop soup recipe that called for soy sauce and vinegar and I liked this one better. I did double the eggs and green onions. It was soooo awesome and a huge hit!

Thai Peanut Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2003
This recipe was delicious! I wish I would have double the sauce. I added about a tablespoon of cornstarch to the sauce at the end to thicken the sauce up a bit, other than that I didn't change a thing. I thought the flavor was spectacular!

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2002
Very good recipe and fairly easy. I poached my chicken as well and shredded it and I used frozen egg noodles. I prefer those to the dry ones. I added some sliced carrots as well and it was just what the doctor ordered for my husbands cold.

Green Bean and Mushroom Medley

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2002
This recipe was delicious. I also love the one on this site called Garlic Green beans made with canned beans but this one might be a bit better. I like how it has color with the carrots and the onions and mushrooms make it just perfect. I followed the recipe exactly and thought it was great. I will make again.

Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2002
I thought these were great. I made the night before and stored in the fridge. I left out at room temp for about 20-30 min as recipe states and the middle of the mash potatoes were still cold but the edges were perfect. It didn't really matter though because this makes so much we never reached the middle! If you were making to really serve 12 I would leave in the oven longer.

Uncooked Banana Pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2002
Yummy Yummy Yummy and SOOOO easy. I cook for other families and it was great to layer 3 seperate tupper ware containers full! I will make this again and try it with light sour cream. It calls for whole milk but I used 1% and it came out great.

Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2002
This recipe was soooo good. I too only cooked it for about 1 hour and 15 minutes and I even doubled the recipe using 2 1/2 pound loins. I used half the rosemary (which was plenty) and doubled the garlic. I also marinated it overnight. This was absolutely great and I will make it again! Thanks for a great recipe!

i should have drained the meat more or used a leaner ground beef, they were pretty greasy. they were still very good and my husband loved them.
