Carrot-Topped Swiss Cube Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
This was absolutely delicious! The only changes that I made was using crinkle cut carrots instead of shredded and I dipped the cubed steaks into egg before dredging in the flour. I served it with rice and creamed peas. I will make this again and again!!

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
I made this exactly as described. It was delicious! I served it with cooked pasta. However, I do not recommend this. When I ate the chops with the pasta, I thought they were bland and did not plan to make them again. When I ate them the second time without pasta, they were delicious! The pasta kind of masked the flavor of the chops!

Chewy Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
I prefer fudgy brownies. These were kind of cake-like when they first came out of the oven. I wasn't sure I liked them then. However, the second day, after sitting out in a sealed dish, they were much more fudgy. I loved them on the second day! Great recipe! Thanks!

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
Simply fabulous! I was out of instant chocolate pudding mix, so I thought I would give this a try, since I had all of the ingredients on hand. It is so easy and delicious! I did use heaping tablespoons of cocoa powder, but that was the only change that I made. Simply perfect!

Pork Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
These were fantastic! The only changes I made to the recipe was to use bagged shredded cabbage instead of chopping my own. Also, I cooked them in a pan over medium low heat. After about 2 minutes on each side, I poured in a bit of water and put a lid over it so they could steam the rest of the way. It was much faster than steaming in my electric steamer! I served it with Kikkoman Ponzu sauce. They were spectacular! Even my picky husband loved them!

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
This was delicious! I used chicken tenders, instead of whole breasts. They were tender and flavorful. I added about a 1/3 cup of chicken broth at the end and slightly less garlic powder than was called for. I will definately make it again! I think I will double the lime juice and broth next time to have some sauce for the white rice I served with it. Thanks for the great recipe!

Shrimp Scampi IV

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
Yum! Very good! I, too, used frozen shrimp which I defrosted just before using. I did add about a 1/3 cup of white wine. I think it needs a bit less mustard. I added a healthy sprinkle of parmesean cheese on top. It only took 6 minutes for my shrimp to finish cooking. I served over linguine with steamed broccoli. My picky husband loved it!

Very good, simple recipe! My picky husband likes it. I did double the sugar, but prepared it according to the recipe otherwise. Yum!

Triple-Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
The best Macaroni and Cheese recipe ever! My in laws raved about it! I have made it several times, and each time, I use whatever cheese I have on hand. I made it exactly as written the first time, the next time with American, monteray jack cheese and cheddar cheese. I have also used all combinations of mozzarella/parmesan, colby, monteray jack, cheddar, American, Velveeta, Swiss. Every time, it is delicious! Do NOT leave out the mustard. It makes the dish have a zing!
