Candy Cane Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2012
Made this today & was not impressed. I agree w/a previous review that it tastes nothing like fudge, rather more of a fondant.

Magic Wands

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
I've made these for years at Christmas time, instead using melted chocolate & white chocolate chips, also coating with crushed peppermint, cashews & sprinkles. I am excited about the frosting idea!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
This recipe did not work for me- the dough was ridiculously sticky even with the addition of extra flour- which eventually just made it taste bad. Maybe I did something wrong?

Taco Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2008
One can definitely make this a healthier dish by using ground turkey or lean ground beef, reduced fat cheese and sour cream and by adding in some extra veggies. Like a previous poster said, add onions, green/red/yellow peppers and olives, only use enough sour cream to cover. My husband and I thought this was a great dish- very tasty, will make again.

Hands down- awesome! I used turkey bacon, fried crispy, crumbled it up right before serving over the soup with chives and some shredded cheese. Fabulous!

Vanilla Crepes

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
Next time I will use a little less vanilla. I used bananas and chocolate chips as a filling. Also used lite cherry pie filling- yummy! Topped with whip cream. Overall, it is a light crepe, which I like, but as always, it's what one puts inside the crepe that really makes it.

Chili con Carne III

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
Like others have said- this is a great base! I used ground turkey instead of beef and used cayenne pepper, ground mustard, more chili powder and even added a little sugar at the end for a little sweet/spicy kick. Served over rice. Next time I'll serve with corn muffins. This is a keeper!
