Easy Chicken Casserole

I sauted the onion in a little margarine before I added it. I also added about 1/2 cup milk to the soup mixture to make it a little thinner. Overall, this recipe was quick and easy and my family enjoyed it.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs (Suan T'ien Niu Jou Po Lo La Tzu)

Pretty quick and easy to make. I might cut down a little on the sugar next time, because it was a little too sweet, but otherwise very good. It is very good served over white rice.

Chicken Supreme III

I improvised a bit by cutting the chicken into bite-size pieces before cooking it and seasoning it with salt and pepper. I also added chopped onion and celery to the stuffing mix and prepared it according to the directions on the package. I also doubled the amount of water added to the soup to make it a little thinner. I doubled this recipe to feed a family of 6, and there was almost nothing left over. I guess everyone enjoyed it!

Jiffy Casserole

I seasoned the hamburger, but it was still a little bland. Needs ketchup or cheese or something. Maybe cheese soup instead of mushroom would improve it. I left the skins on the potatoes and sliced them very thin, and they cooked fine. Overall, this dish is okay, but nothing to write home about.

Bacon Chicken and Dumplings

I would have preferred ham instead of the bacon. It also came out way thinnner than I thought. I would have preferred it a little thicker and creamier. However, my husband had it left over the next day, and said it had thickened up a lot.

Baked Beans II

My husband made these for Mother's Day, and they came out great. Could have possible cooked a little longer to thicken up a bit, but they thickened up after they sat a while. Very quick and EASY recipe!

Bierock Casserole

Overall, I liked this recipe in that it was quick, easy and a little unusual. There should have been another ingredient in the meat mixture to hold it together and make it jucier, because the meat was too dry and crumbly.

Rhubarb Cake I

For some reason, the topping went to the bottom of the pan when it baked, but it came out very good anyway. It could have maybe used another cup of rhubarb. My family really liked this cake, and it DID taste even better the next day!

Rhubarb Cobbler

It tasted a little like apple cobbler, but with the tartness of rhubarb. Easier than rhubarb pie and tasted great warm with ice cream on top! I'm sure I'll make it again. My family all liked it.

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

I increased the lemon juice to 1/3 cup. I also used a 9x13 pan, as directed, and they came out great. They disappeared fast!! The only problem I had was that the filling did stick badly to the sides of the pan, even though I greased the pan very well.

Coconut Chocolate Cake I

The filling was very good, but I think the frosting was missing an ingredient. It came out very dry and crumbly. I added a stick of margarine to make it spreadable. If I make it again, I will use a chocolate glaze instead of the frosting.

Chicken Enchiladas IV

DELICIOUS!! My family loved this recipe. They couldn't wait to eat the leftovers. Even my picky 10-year-old son loved it. I used flour tortillas instead of corn, and enchilada sauce instead of salsa.

Rhubarb Stir Cake

The cake came out great. The sugar on top gave it a sweet crunchy crust. The cake is very moist and not overly sweet. I'm sure I'll make it again.

Choco-coconut Bars

Tasted as good as a Mounds candy bar or better! Next time I make them, I'll try using a smaller pan, so that the filling will be thicker, and I'll cut them into one-inch squares. Hopefully, it will be easier to dip them in the chocolate. Other than that, I wouldn't change the recipe at all.

Swiss Vegetable Medley

I made this recipe for Thanksgiving using Swiss cheese and frozen Mediterranean style vegetables, and it came out great. It tasted even better left over. Definitely a keeper!!

Basic Crepes

Good recipe! Fast and easy to make. We filled them with strawberry preserves and dusted them with powdered sugar. My family loved them. I had to make them again for breakfast a few days later. This recipe is definately a keeper!

Irresistible Pecan Pie

Delicious! The next time I make it, I'll try using only 1/2 cup nuts on the bottom and on top instead of a whole cup. Other than that, I wouldn't change the recipe at all.
