Apple Bavarian Torte
I needed to use some leftover apples and I am not a good crust maker...so this recipe was a hit! Easy to make and very tasty...

Superb Cranberry Sauce with Apples and Pears
I have made this cranberry compote the past three Thanksgivings...and it is ALWAYS a hit! It is a great accompaniment to the turkey and stuffing. For best results, make it a day ahead of time and refrigerate so that ingredients meld together...yum! (side note...who would ever just open a can of cranberry sauce and serve it??)

World's Best Lasagna
After reading some of the reviews, I made the following changes: added red wine, used fresh basil (this really added some flavor), half the salt, added mushrooms (personal preference) and then used wheat noodles. Also, the fennel seeds are a must! It came out great!! Too bad I didn't invite company over, but that means more for my husband and I.
