Chicken, Stuffing and Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2012
I give this recipe 5 stars because it is a great base recipe. Use it as a guide and throw in whatever you have in your refrigerator/pantry that you feel will go with it. I was too lazy to run to the grocery store so I found this recipe instead. I was able to use stuffing mix that had been sitting in my pantry for way too long, celery that was starting to get wilty and some leftover velveeta cheese dip and it turned out great. Thanks for the recipe idea!

This recipe is absolutely fabulous as is. This is my husband's most requested meal. If I have company over, this is one of my go-to recipes to serve. Thanks for the fantastic recipe!

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2010
I love spinach artichoke dip and I would always order this as an appetizer at restaurants. Not anymore. Now I can make it cheaper and better at home, thanks to this recipe. The made two changes to this recipe. I combine the ingredients together rathan than layer them and I do not roast the garlic, I just mince and throw it in. Thanks for the great recipe!

Brisket with BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2010
Thanks for the great recipe! I was looking for a cooking method for cooking brisket in the oven and this was perfect! Super moist and very tasty. The extra step of slicing the brisket and pouring the sauce over it in the final cooking hour was what really made this recipe a winner. I used a bottled texas-style bbq sauce and mixed it with the beef juices and poured on top of the sliced brisket. Perfection!

Chewy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
I don't know what I did but the cookie dough was the stickiest, gooey-est, cookie dough ever. I tried rolling it in a ball like the recipe said. I used an air-bake cookie sheet with holes on the bottom and most of the cookie dripped out. Not a fan.

Creamy Italian Dressing I

sorry, just not a fan. My husband said it was "edible". Too sweet, too onion-y.

Cilantro Chicken with Zucchini Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
I give this recipe four stars because it really helped me figure out what to do with ingredients that I already had. I had some seasoned chicken fajita meat but I really wasn't in the mood for fajitas. This fit the bill. I ended up doubling the recipe and used one package of Knorr's Spanish Rice & one package of Knorr's Taco Rice. I also removed the zucchini after cooking and set aside. I added it to the rice after the rice was finished cooking. (The thought of boiling the cooked zucchini just didn't sound appealing to me.) My husband loves it, he took two servings, and I am hoping that it will taste even better tomorrow for lunch.

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2009
I discovered this sauce two weeks ago and I have already made it three times. I made the recipe as directed, Loved It! I made the recipe with half a jalapeno added, Loved It! I made the recipe with greek yogurt instead of sour cream, Loved It! I prefer to eat this sauce as a dip with Tostitos Hint of Lime chips and fresh salsa. I little bit of sauce w/ a little bit of salsa on a lime chip - heaven!! Thanks Amy!

Aunt Fannie's Dinner

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
The four star rating is really credited to the reviews. I followed a lot of their suggestions and it was fabulous. I increased the macaroni to 2 cups, replaced the garlic powder with 3 minced cloves, and substituted Ro Tel tomatoes (extra hot) for the stewed tomatoes. I also replaced the tomato sauce with canned enchilada sauce, about 12 oz. Outstanding! This made it really spicy, but my 1 year old still finished his plate.
