About this Cook
I just started living with my boyfriend and that's when I really began to start cooking. I didn't cook much before that, but now I cook up a storm! I found out that I love to cook and bake!
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking pasta and Polish food. But I'm really trying to push my horizons with all the new recipes at my disposal.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Grew up on "All American food" and my grandmother cooks some Polish/Croatian food that I now make.
My cooking triumphs
Stuffed Bell Peppers!

Cherry Cobbler I
So good! I had a bag of cherries that were getting old so I decided to bake with them. This was the perfect recipe for it! I did tweet it by adding a little less sugar since my cherries were already sweet. The only other change I made was adding a tsp of vanilla extract when mixing the cornstarch, sugar and water because I love vanilla extract. Quick and delicious - the best combination!!

Eggplant Parmesan II
Eggplant was very good! Never had eaten nor have prepared eggplant before, but it turned out great! I boiled the slices in salted water for 2 minutes and they were nice and soft then.

Caramel Apple Cheesecake
The cheesecake was delicious! Used cinnamon graham cracker crust and added cinnamon and nutmeg to apple filling and caramel sauce. I let sit in oven after baking time for half an hour without the oven on to make sure the center set.
