Connie's Zucchini "Crab" Cakes

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2014
I've been making this recipe for a couple years now. We LOVE it! I always have to make a double batch because my 5yo devours them!! I do squeeze out the extra juice after shredding the zucchini and put the patties in the freezer just till almost frozen...I think they cook up much better that way. Thank you! It is KEEPER for us!

Grape Jelly

Perfect! Made mine with liquid pectin though. Mixed juice and sugar in a pot - (rolling) boiled for 5min - stirred in pectin let it come to a (rolling) boil again for one min. Processed for 10min. Came out perfect! Quick and easy.

We LOVE this in our house! End up having to cut it in half! The first time I made it it FILLED my large Le Crucet pot! Think its enough to feed 6 football players! My husband loves the fact that it has potatoes in it (meat and potatoes at the dinner table and he's happy)! Thank you!

Brooklyn Girl's Penne Arrabiata

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
Not sure why anyone would give this anything less than 5 stars. It was oh so good! I did as suggested by others and cut the chicken into strips before I breaded and fried them - though it would be easier, and it was. This is a KEEPER!

Perfect St. Patrick's Day Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
Happy St. Patrick's Day to me! This was a great cake! I melted my butter in the microwave then whisked in the beer (then zapped it for a couple more seconds) instead of melting in a saucepan - faster, I think. I also chose not to make the chocolate drizzle...thought it would be a bit too sweet for my taste. Just with the butter frosting its fantastic! Next time I will double the butter frosting - or at least 1 1/2 times. As is it barely covered the cake (guess if I would have done the chocolate drizzle it would have been enough). At any rate! GREAT! Thanks for posting it for us!

Alphabet Pancakes

Reviewed: May 18, 2009
I don't have bis quick either so just used my recipe. I made them tonight for my 2yo. who LOVES to identify any and all letters and numbers that he lays his eyes on - so to see a letter/number pancake he was beside himself! My son gets a bit impatient when he sees me making pancakes so, for him, I just made the letters/numbers on the griddle and didn't cover them with more batter - they cooked faster which appeased my impatient 2yo. FANTASTIC idea, thank you so much! Now I won't have to listen to a whining child & he loves seeing letters and numbers in a new place.
