Chess Cake

I cut back on the baking time and added vanilla and a pinch of salt. Makes an interesting difference, small yet, a difference.

Red Velvet Cake IV

This cake is a winner! A couple of things - I added more red food coloring,with only one bottle, it was way too pink. I like two bottles. I used cake flour, wow, this makes such a difference in the texture. I will add more cocoa powder next time, not quite enough chocolate for me. will make again and again.

Molasses Cookies

after reading other reviews, I used butter and brown sugar. I baked them at 375 for 10 minutes, put them on a rake to cool and my husband and I cannot stop eating them. Just enough spice, a little "crunch" and sweet all in one. this one is a keeper and a 5-start.
