Savory Crescent Chicken
Yummy. We call them Crescent Squares. These are so good this time of year. I too omit the pimentos, croutons and additional butter. But, I use about 1/4 of a large onion, chopped. Nothing better than cream cheese, chicken, butter and onions. I ALWAYS use Pillsbury brand also. Store brand crescent rolls just don't get it with these lovely squares. My family likes a thin chicken gravy over these. I use a bit of chicken broth and my favorite cream soup. Like Cream of chicken or even Cream of Mushroom, thinned with some broth. Use as much as you like to make it thick or thin. These are very filling. Even my 17 yr old can usually only eat one! This one's a keeper.

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce
Here is a little more figure-friendly idea. I use a box of 8 large TURKEY Italian sausage links. They are only 110 calories each and 4g of fat. Then I use a whole bag of frozen peppers & onions. They are sold as "stir fry" vegetables. Just add a jar of your favorite sauce and turn on the crock pot on Low for the next 6-8 hours. The sausages come out so good. I can throw this together in a few minutes before I leave for work. My family loves it.
