Three Cheese Macaroni with Tomatoes

This is wonderful. To make it a 5 star, I added some garlic and onion powder. This could give Pizza Hut pasta a run for their money! Great mix of cheeses, the tomatoes pop with flavor outta the oven, and the combination of powders really top it off. Thanks for the recipe!

Kimberly's Meaty Meatloaf

This was my first attempt at making a meatloaf and this is a great starter recipe. I did a few different things, and it was wonderful. I put an 8 ounce can of tomato sauce INTO the meatloaf mix, then poured one on top at the end (this was all by mistake, but it really turned out awesome). I also shredded the onion and a few cloves of garlic into the mix as well. Instead of the egg I used an egg substitute and it all worked out fine. Again, this is a wonderful starter recipe, you can really do a lot off this meatloaf base.

Italian Dressing Mix

Great flavor but if you make too much, and let it sit until you use it again, it gets WAY too salty. Also, having to measure water and canola oil each time was kind of annoying. But, this was the best mix that I've found that was close to storebought. Did not use it as a marinade, but I bet it'd be awesome. I followed the recipe exactly and the only plan to change next time will be to substitute the garlic salt for garlic powder, omit the 2 teaspoons salt, and just have the celery salt as the salt ingredient.

Texas Sheet Cake II

Worked out perfect! Just be sure to use the proper flour, I used a self-rising flour and it wasn't as flat as sheet cake needs to be. So be careful to choose the flour correctly.

World's Best Lasagna

This just wasn't as great as I thought it was going to be. It's a nice recipe, but there are so many more awesome things you can do with lasagna and I just think this didn't hit enough of them.

Seasoned Oyster Crackers

It's a great recipe, but these HAVE TO BE BAKED! My mother put them on a low heat in the oven, around 200 or so. Put them in a big, oven-safe bowl (or a cookie sheet if it's all you have). Every 15 minutes stir them around, do this for 1 hour. And there you go! The flavor just melts into the crackers, so much yummier!!! **if you don't have dill, substitute with some lemon juice

Ground Beef Stroganoff

Just not that good. The 3 star is that it is a good, starter recipe. Not 5 star because there is such a lack of flavor! Again, as a starter recipe this is good. If you want a flavor to your meal then you need to season, season, season! Also, you need to find a thickening agent (flour, cornstarch, etc...) because this has a difficult time thickening on it's own. I will make it again with a major overhaul.

Texas Sheet Cake V

Just what a sheet cake should be like. I was out of all-purpose flour, so I used self-rising flour. If it rises too much you can slice off the middle, risen part. There is no taste difference when you use the sour cream in this recipe. Still just as yummy though!

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

This was the best homeade chicken noodle soup I've ever had. I made this in a rice cooker, and it lasted all day on the "warm" setting and just got better and better! Be mindful not to leave the noodles in all day, they get mushy. I'd like to try this with homeade egg noodles someday.

Creamed Cucumber Slices

This is really yummy. You can use 2 large cucumbers with the ingredients above (for 4). I like it with a couple more dashes of sugar, personal preference. Also yummy when you add sliced onions and tomatoes. This is just the perfect summer dish, but it's January and I'm still making it:)

Italian Pasta Salad I

This was very good. The blend of creamy caesar and italian was what makes this dish. My changes (for personal preference only) were to omit the peppers. I added two tomates diced, a quarter red onion diced, sliced black olives and fresh pepper. Delicious!

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

**UPDATE** This is still awesome, however be sure to always follow the recipe because if you stray, it's not the same. Original: Talk about AWESOME! This is so simple but the most amazing dressing! Seriously, I'd rather have a salad at home then at the fancy italian restaurants with this recipe. I was simply amazed at how good this was. THANK YOU!!!
